What my friends at ACC say about me:Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!My purr motor is always running!A volunteer writes: Lady Mel Hemmingway's name is perfect for her given she is what people call a Hemingway cat because she has thumbs! I go crazy when I see cats that look like they have mittens on and it's so cute and unique. When I first approached her, she was resting peacefully at the top of her kennel. At first she didn't seem overly interested but after a few seconds, she jumped down and was ready to go, she just had a bit of a slow start! She proceeded to walk around her kennel and lean into pets and had a very gentle demeanor! As I always say, I have a soft spot for seniors, and given she is 10 years old I was immediately drawn to her. Our black, panther is looking her forever home for the rest of her years that will give her the love, attention, and pets she deserves! Primary Color: Black Weight: 8.88 Age: 10yrs 0mths 0wks
