My story

Hi, I’m Mimosa! I’m a sweet, snuggly girl who absolutely adores people—especially kids! When I got to my foster home, I ran straight to the kiddos for belly rubs, then took a cozy nap on the couch. I live with three other dogs and get along great with them, though I prefer my chill time when I’m ready to relax. I’m gentle, patient, and love curling up under a blanket or laying my head on your shoulder in the car. I enjoy short walks, a little playtime with the kids and pups, and meeting new friends when we go to the store—my whole body wiggles with excitement! Thunderstorms and fireworks make me nervous, but a quiet space with some soft music and a good chew toy help me settle. I’ve got a sensitive tummy, so I get a little wet food with my kibble and prefer to eat slowly in my crate. If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion who lives for couch cuddles and kid time, I just might be your perfect match!
