My story

All About Me Name: Daekong Age: 5 months (Born December 2024) Gender: Female Spayed: Scheduled Breed: Jindo & Corgi Mix Color: Black Weight: 7 kg / 15 lbs   Hello, I’m Daekong! I was born in a shelter with my brothers and sisters! Apparently, my dad and mom were rescued by these warm-hearted rescuers while they were living on the street. My mom was pregnant, walking on the busy road looking for some safety and food, and she was very lucky! This is how we were able to be born in a warm safe place and grow up all together.   My Personality I may be small, but I have a big, loving heart. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always curious about the world around me. I love to be close to people and I don’t hesitate to approach both familiar friends and new faces with a wagging tail and soft eyes. I’m totally fine being held, and you can even scoop me up for a cuddle I'll happily settle into your arms. Outdoors, I come alive with energy. I’m an active girl who thrives on movement and exploration, but once I’ve had a good walk or play session, I settle down calmly and love a peaceful nap nearby.   Social Skills - With People: I love meeting people and enjoy being near them. Whether I know you or not, I’ll gently approach, seeking affection and connection. - With Other Dogs: I’m wonderfully social! I enjoy playing with other dogs, regardless of their size, and I tend to avoid conflict—if another pup gets grumpy, I just quietly walk away. - With Cats: I haven’t officially met a cat, but I’m such a sweet soul that everyone thinks I’d do just fine with them.   On My Walks‍ I really enjoy walking in quiet areas, where I can take in the world at my own pace. I follow my person well and love the fresh air. That said, busy streets with loud cars or sudden noises can feel a bit overwhelming for me right now I’m still learning that the big world is a safe place. When something loud passes by, I might get startled and try to jump away, so I’ll need someone patient and understanding who can guide me gently and help build my confidence over time.   Life at Home I’m calm, quiet, and adaptable. I rarely bark, and I’m already comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. I don’t guard my food or toys and I’m very polite with people and other pups alike. I love to be near my humans and will quietly follow you around, happy just to be part of your day.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving family who will give me the space and time I need to grow into the best version of myself. I’d do well in a home with: - A calm, nurturing environment - A gentle, patient person or family who can help me get used to busier places - Another kind dog to learn from (optional, but a bonus!) - Lots of play, cuddles, and encouragement If you're someone who understands that a little patience goes a long way and are ready for a sweet, loyal companion to blossom right before your eyes I think we might be meant for each other.
