My story

All About Me Name: Hima Age: 2 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 16 kg / 36 lbs Height (shoulder): 50 cm   Hi, I’m Hima. As far as I remember, I was captured by city workers and started living in Yongin city shelter when I was about 3 months old.  Since the city shelter can’t keep all the unclaimed dogs like me forever, they had to start putting us on the list of euthanasia. A warm-hearted rescuer heard this news and brought me from the city shelter! And this is how I could have a second chance.   My Personality If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion who stays quietly by your side, I just might be the one you’ve been searching for. I may have started life in a shelter, but I’ve grown into a sweet, affectionate boy who carries the best qualities of my Jindo heritage: loyalty, sensitivity, and quiet confidence. I love being near my person and will happily nudge you for pets and cuddles. Once I bond with you, I’ll follow you everywhere like your little shadow. I’m calm and composed at home, with a gentle spirit and tidy habits. I don’t bark much just a short “woof” when someone new comes to the door but otherwise, I’m very peaceful. New things outside can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. I might hesitate on unfamiliar roads or back away from strange objects, but I always listen to myself and trust their lead. Give me a little time, and I’ll build confidence step by step. I also love chicken (a lot!), enjoy car rides, and never cause any trouble indoors. I’m not just a good boy I’m a very good boy.   Social Skills With People: I warm up quickly to new humans and don’t mind being picked up or touched. I’ll even let you wrap your arms around my belly! With Dogs: I’m friendly and polite with other pups, big or small, and I especially enjoy dogs with calm or medium energy. In large groups (5 or more dogs), I prefer to stay close to my person, but I always greet other dogs kindly. With Cats: I’ve seen a few on walks and didn’t chase—I just watched with curiosity. I’d likely be just fine sharing a home with a respectful kitty.   On My Walks‍ I enjoy getting outside but I’m not high-energy, I’m more of a peaceful explorer. I might pull on the leash a little, but I stay connected to my person and enjoy the outing. Sometimes big buildings or unfamiliar streets make me nervous, and I might stop or back away. When that happens, I just need gentle reassurance. With time and encouragement, I’m getting braver every day.   Life at Home I’m tidy, quiet, and well-mannered inside the home. I prefer outdoor potty breaks and have no trouble waiting. I also know how to get in and out of cars on my own and ride calmly in a kennel if needed. When I get excited like when you come home, I might gently mouth your hand to say “Don’t forget about me!” It’s just my way of asking for a little love.   My Ideal Home I’m looking for a loving family who will give me the space and time I need to grow into the best version of myself. I’d do well in a home with: - A calm, nurturing environment - A gentle, patient person or family who can help me get used to busier places - Another kind dog to learn from (optional, but a bonus!) - Lots of play, cuddles, and encouragement If you're someone who understands that little patience goes a long way and are ready for a sweet, loyal companion to blossom right before your eyes I think we might be meant for each other. I can’t wait to meet my forever family.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Hima's Playlist ##2401967##
