My story

This resilient little guy was found hiding in a car bumper and has spent his time in foster care recovering from the scare and learning to enjoy the finer things in life. He is still wary of humans but adores his foster cat brother, and will likely warm up quickly to his new home, especially with a confident resident cat to show him the ropes and plenty of Churu treats!He shows his affection and appreciation by way of slow blinks, and is eager to tell you about all his feelings as he goes through his day - once he gets comfortable, this little guy is chatty! He may take his time to warm up to cuddling but you’ll know he’s content.He enjoys playing solo with a catnip toy or taking turns at hide and seek with another cat, and can be convinced to chase a string or hunt a toy mouse. Despite his rough start, he’s a perfect gentleman, with impeccable litter box habits and no destructive behaviors around furniture or plants. Perhaps a messy eater every so often but that’s just because he adores his wet food!If you appreciate a chill personality, an adorable face, and the most impressive fluffy tail, and don’t mind following his lead as he opens up at his own pace, Bumper’s your cat! Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, Friday, and all holidays.
