My story

Don’t be fooled…there are some beautiful baby blues under all those wrinkles! Meet Azul. San Antonio Animal Care Services initially rescued this darling boy, but then we spotted him and decided we had to have him! Azul was born with a bilateral entropion, a congenital condition where the lower eyelids are rolled inward. He has been dealing with this irritating ordeal his whole life, but thankfully, a quick nip and tuck at our clinic will make this fella feel more comfortable! As a Shar Pei, Azul is alert, intelligent, and loving beyond belief. He loves to cozy up and give you the fattest kisses, and once he can see, he might be a little more prone to playtime! This roly-poly boy is also crate trained, potty trained, and treat-motivated. He keeps his kennel clean and truly has the best manners. We’re confident that Azul will find a forever home in no time.
