My story

This is Cleo, and her story is one of incredible resilience. At five years old, this beautiful medium-mix has already overcome more than any animal ever should. Cleo was rescued from a horrific situation where she was brutally beaten for having treatable GI parasites. After months of effort, we were finally able to buy her for $50 and bring her into a world of kindness this past March. To say Cleo has thrived is an understatement. In the care of her loving foster home, she has made a remarkable transformation. She has found a soulmate in her foster-brother, Jax; they spend their days in playful romps around the yard and their nights curled up together, sharing warmth and affection. Cleo’s past is a part of her story, but it does not define her. Her future is one of love, and she is so ready to find a patient and compassionate family to share it with.
