At 11 years young, Sammy is a testament to the saying that age is just a number—you'd never guess his age if we didn't tell you. Although he's a little shy at first, once he warms up to you, he craves affection and love. Sammy enjoys nothing more than snuggling up in his cozy bed and watching the world go by. If you're looking for a gentle companion who offers endless cuddles and companionship, Sammy is the perfect match for you!**Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please fill out an application online on our website, and someone will contact you.****All cats and kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be kept as indoor-only pets and cannot be declawed.****All cats are spayed or neutered, FeLV tested, and microchipped. They are also dewormed and receive age-appropriate vaccinations.**All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.
