My story

Meet Donnie – Your New Best Snuggle Buddy! Donnie is an absolute sweetheart who’s ready to melt your heart! This gentle, affectionate boy is a certified cuddle expert — he loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch for a movie night or a lazy afternoon nap. Around the home, Donnie is low maintenance and well-mannered. He enjoys being brushed, calmly cooperates when getting wiped down after walks, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. Donnie is also fully potty trained! Donnie has epilepsy and experienced two seizures while in foster care, but he’s now doing wonderfully on daily Keppra medication and hasn’t had any further episodes. He takes his meds like a champ and continues to thrive with a consistent routine and lots of love. Donnie would do best as the only dog in the home — he prefers to be the center of attention and isn’t comfortable around other dogs. But with his big heart, calm presence, and endless affection, you won’t need any other pets! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to share your home and heart, Donnie just might be your perfect match.
