My story

Meet Mabel, a 3-year-old, 47.3-pound Carolina Dog mix who`s come a long way since arriving at the shelter! When Mabel first came to us, she was a little nervous and unsure of her surroundings. She wasn`t quite ready to trust people, avoiding staff and getting nervous if anyone got too close. But with plenty of patience, love, and understanding, Mabel has really blossomed! While she still has moments of shyness, she’s become much more confident and comfortable around the people she knows.Mabel enjoys exploring and sniffing her way through the world, always curious about what’s around her. She would thrive in a calm, patient home that can give her the space and time she needs to feel safe and secure. Once she’s settled in, Mabel is a loving companion who enjoys being with her people. If you`re looking for a sweet girl who just needs a little time to warm up, Mabel might be the perfect fit for you!We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
