My story

  Beautiful and Loving, Year Old Momma Looking For Her Post Partum Paradise! Lotus is a sweet young mother who took incredible care of her six healthy kittens for the past two months. She was brought in as a stray cat with her litter. She is a beautiful year old calico with striking green eyes and a slight frame. She has been nothing but pleasant and attentive to her babies, but its her time to start her journey now and settle down and share her love with you! Lotus is social and has been very easy going to both older kids and adults while with us. She loves to hang out, get behind the ear rubs and will let you pet and carry her without issue. She is curious and loves free range of the house where there are beds and windowsills just waiting to be her perch. She likes to chill out mostly but doesn't shy away from the activity of the house either. Catnip and cardboard scratchers are also a favorite. Post nursing she has gained more energy and has started showing interest in toys and jumping on higher surfaces. Don't let her gentle demeanor fool you though- her love of people food is evidenced in her snagging food off the counters or your plate! This mild behavior may need some retraining as it seems she must have had some scavenger days behind her! In general, she has been very pleasant with our resident cats but can get territorial with food at times and offer a low warning growl or mild hiss. Since weaning, Lotus has been purring and meowing more and showing increased attention to the world beyond the kittens. She loves rubs behind the ears but probably isn't interested in being on your lap (just yet!). Lotus would be content as an only pet or with another relaxed cat to bathe in the sunlight with. I'm sure she'd love to live with one of her kittens forever as well! This stunning young mom is ready for a break from the whole crew and deserves to be spoiled herself! Lotus appears very healthy, has tested negative for FeLV and is up to date on her shots and flea treatment.
