My story

PASTRAMI Age: 4 years Ideal Home: Calm, patient adopter; must be adopted with her sister Pierogi for companionship Background: Pastrami and her sister Pierogi were abandoned outside our shelter as adolescent kittens. They were adopted and loved for four years, but due to circumstances beyond their control — including a growing family and lifestyle changes — they were returned just after their fourth birthday. Personality: Shy and reserved, but deeply loving to her chosen person Strongly bonded with her sister Pierogi Struggles with household changes and needs a stable, quiet space Prefers women and does not do well with children Good With: Her sister Pierogi Calm, cat-savvy women Does Not Prefer: Children Noisy, high-traffic homes Most men Pastrami is longing for a peaceful home where she can stay with her sister and rebuild trust with someone who understands her gentle spirit. --------------------------------------------- PIEROGI Age: 4 years Ideal Home: Calm, cat-savvy woman adopter; must be adopted with her sister Pastrami for companionship Background: Pierogi and her sister Pastrami were left outside our shelter as young "cattens" in need of socialization. They were adopted and loved, but after four years, they were returned due to major life changes in their previous home. Sadly, they came back to us just days after their fourth birthday. Personality: Loyal and affectionate once she chooses her person Sensitive to change, especially loud or unpredictable environments Strongly prefers women and does not do well with children Desperately in need of a second chance and a quiet, stable home Good With: Her sister Pastrami Quiet, cat-savvy women Does Not Prefer: Children Loud or chaotic homes Most men Pierogi is searching for a soft place to land — a peaceful home where she can feel safe, loved, and never have to start over again. Read more about our adoptable cats, their backstories, and personalities on our website: https://whiteoakanimalsafehaven.com/ All cats adopted from WOASH have the following medical care prior to adoption; -Spay/Neuter -1 year Rabies and FVRCP vaccines -FIV/FeLV test -Microchip -Flea Treatment (30 day) -Deworming -Basic wellness exam *All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
