My story

Fancy is a 2-year-old medium-sized mixed breed who’s as beautiful in spirit as she is in name. She came to Paws Humane Society on May 15, 2025, after being found as a stray with her litter of five puppies. All of her pups have since been adopted, and now it’s finally Fancy’s turn to shine. This sweet girl has been through a lot, but her heart remains full of love. While she can be a little shy at first, once Fancy gets to know you, she absolutely lights up — quite literally wiggling from head to tail when she sees a familiar face. Her gentle affection and deep loyalty make her a truly special companion. Fancy is looking for a patient and loving home where she won’t be left alone too often. She does have some separation anxiety, so she’ll thrive best with someone who can offer her consistency, reassurance, and plenty of snuggles. She's still brushing up on her basic training, but she’s a smart cookie who learns quickly with the right encouragement and routine.
