My story

Missy the blue-eyed sweetheart, is ready for her Forever home. Missy is an 11-month-old 18lb terrier mix. She came to Colorado out of a hoarding situation. While initially shy, she is a super loyal and sweet girl. With her stunning blue eyes, sweet smile, and adorable, playful run, Missy will steal your heart quickly. She is working on her basic commands- overall, she is a very good doggy. She walks well on the leash! She is crate trained, even though it's not her favorite thing.  Missy is fully housebroken, doesn’t chew anything she shouldn’t, and rarely barks.  Her favorite activities are walks, belly rubs, ear scratches, chewing a bone, snuggling on the couch or bed and chasing bunnies in the yard. She is always within a few feet of her foster mom and loves to go where she goes. Car rides are SUPER fun, and she loves anything outside.  She is good with older kids, or younger kids that can be gentle with her, adults, and other dogs. (We are not sure about cats.)    She would love a backyard to run around, but because she tries to run when scared, a fenced yard is a must. She loves having someone around during the day, so a family with someone at home or working from home would be ideal.
