My story

 Meet Peppermint!  This adorable 7-month-old Yorkie mix is as sweet as her name! Weighing just 7 pounds, Peppermint is a tiny bundle of love, energy, and pure joy. Though she started her journey in a tough spot, she has blossomed into a playful, happy pup who’s ready to find her forever home! When she first arrived, she was timid and underweight, but with some special food and TLC, she bounced back like a champ. Now, she’s thriving—full of energy and eager for fun! Peppermint has mastered the art of making friends—learning to respect the older pups and diving headfirst into zoomies with her small dog buddies. She delights in playful antics, whether it’s stealing a toy or dashing off with a piece of laundry to hide in her favorite secret spot. This little sweetheart loves to cuddle and will gently rest her head across your shoulder while soaking up some love. She’s kennel trained for sleeping and meals, and while she’s making great strides in housebreaking, she’s still working on perfecting her routine. Peppermint is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. Her adoption fee is $300. ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Poquita Paws does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes spay/neutered, rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventrative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport to most states across the country. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
