Meet Lucy – A Loving Lap Dog Ready to Start Her Next Chapter Lucy is an 11-year-old, 12-pound bundle of sweetness with a heart full of love to give. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but her spirit remains soft, gentle, and full of hope. Lucy and her doggie littermates made the move from California to Texas with their beloved mom and dad – a couple who adored their pups like family. They were spoiled with home-cooked meals, warm laps, and undivided attention. A few years ago, Lucy’s mom passed away, and her dad recently followed. Now, Lucy and her siblings are searching for new families to love them the way they’ve always known. Despite the changes in her life, Lucy is in great health after a recent dental and a refreshing trip to the groomer. She rides calmly in the car, sleeps soundly in a crate at night (though we’re pretty sure she’d be an excellent bed companion!), and thrives on companionship. She’s eager to please, incredibly sweet, and always happy to snuggle up in a welcoming lap. Lucy would be a perfect match for a senior or anyone looking for a calm, affectionate dog. She gets along beautifully with her littermates but is more than ready to be someone’s one-and-only – a loyal friend for life.
