My story

Meet Katara, a gentle soul who is still learning how to navigate the world around her. Shyness is how she handles new things but beneath it lies a sweet nature waiting to be discovered. Katara`s world has been limited, her social interactions few. She carries a sense of nervousness, a reflection of her under-socialized past. Katara yearns for a quiet home, one filled with patience and understanding. A home where she can slowly shed her fears and bloom into the loving companion she`s destined to be. She would benefit from a home where everyone is old enough to participate in her training. Adopting Katara is not just about giving a home to a shelter dog, it`s about opening your heart to a journey of love, patience, and growth. It`s about teaching Katara that the world can be a safe place, and in return, receiving unconditional love from a friend who will cherish you forever. He has been awarded a GoodPup Scholarship (a $200 value), which is one-on-one training at no cost to the adopter!
