My story

Meet Tesla, or Tes for short. This girl didn’t do anything wrong; after her owner began to face health challenges, they made the tough and selfless decision to surrender her so that she could continue to live her best life. Now, she’s adjusting to the shelter, learning the lay of the land, and scouting out her favorite cozy corners. While the change has been overwhelming, Tes is taking it one quiet day at a time. Tes is best described as a quiet presence. Her previous owner reported that she is serene and unassuming, and we couldn’t agree more. She enjoys the occasional pet on her own terms, and is drawn to soft voices and gentle words. However, don’t let that fool you—when the mood strikes, Tes can jump, run, and play with the best of them. She just needs a little more time to show her spark! Tesla would thrive in an easygoing home that lets her warm up at her own pace. According to her previous owner, she has lived with dogs and other cats, but has no experience with kids. If you have a soft spot for quiet souls and slow blinks, Tes might be just the cat for you!
