My story

This beautiful girl, aptly named Cutie, is incredibly gentle but very fearful around new people. She is 2 years old and around 55lbs. She tends to hide at the back of her kennel, unsure of the world around her. But once she trusts you, she becomes a total velcro dog; loyal, affectionate, and always by your side. She needs a calm, patient home where she can take things at her own pace. A quiet environment, ideally with a backyard and limited foot or car traffic, would help her feel safe and start to blossom. In her previous home, she was too nervous to go potty if strangers were nearby, so privacy is key. She has so much potential and love to give. She just needs the right setting to feel secure. The shelter staff is doing everything they can, but she would truly thrive in a home environment. If you can open your heart and home to foster or adopt, please reach out.
