My story

After 13 wonderful years by her person’s side, Love Bug’s world was turned upside down when her beloved owner passed away. This gentle Chihuahua suddenly found herself alone, confused, and unsure of where she belonged. Now in rescue, Love Bug is slowly learning to trust again. While she may seem timid at first, it doesn’t take long for her sweet personality to shine through. She’s a quiet, loving little girl who simply wants to feel safe, warm, and loved—just like she used to. Love Bug thrives in peaceful, cozy environments where she can nap in soft beds, burrow into blankets, and be near her people. She would do best in a calm home with someone patient and kind, who understands the heart of a senior dog and the joy they bring with their quiet companionship. She may be in her golden years, but Love Bug still has so much love left to give.
