My story

Julius came to us on 5/10/25 as a stray from Mason County, where he had been suffering with a large, untreated facial wound. A concerned local animal advocate reached out, and we immediately stepped in. He was taken to the ER that same night and started on antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. On 5/12/25, our vet confirmed that the injury was likely weeks old and required urgent surgical intervention. Julius underwent wound debridement and neuter surgery on 5/13/25. He is now healing beautifully, with a scheduled re-check and stitch removal set for 5/27/25. He also received his vaccines. Despite the pain he endured, Julius remains gentle, affectionate, and grateful. He is a testament to resilience and the power of second chances.
