My story

Meet Acacia, an 11-pound, 6-month-old Schnauzer-Terrier mix with a heart full of spunk and a body that refuses to quit! Acacia came to us as a stray with a fractured front left leg and signs of an older, healed break in her back right leg—but don’t let that fool you. This little dynamo has no idea she’s supposed to be taking it easy. She’s all puppy: high energy, full of zoomies, and always ready for the next play session. She’s happiest when she’s surrounded by other energetic, playful pups who can match her enthusiasm and keep her entertained. Acacia also adores people and thrives on attention and affection. She's good with kids aged 12 and up who understand puppy energy and boundaries. Acacia is still working on her potty and leash training, so she’ll need a patient adopter committed to helping her build those life skills. She would thrive in an active home where she has room to run, play, and be her goofy, loving self. Despite her rocky start, Acacia’s spirit is unshakable. She's ready to bring joy, laughter, and lots of tail wags to the lucky family who gives her the forever home she deserves. Adoption fee is: $450 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
