Female • Spayed • DOB 11/10/2018Currently in Boarding – Naperville, IL Powder is soft, delicate, and quietly beautiful—inside and out. She was born into a life of neglect, never mistreated, but never nurtured either. She’s now fearful and unsure, not because of trauma—but because no one ever took the time to show her love. Like most Australian Shepherds, Powder is highly intelligent and sensitive. She will flourish in a calm, structured environment where she feels safe and understood. Powder is spayed, dewormed, fully vetted, and up to date on her shots. She’s currently in boarding in Naperville, but what she needs is a quiet foster home to decompress, where she can learn about the joy of human touch, gentle cuddles, and daily companionship. To help her become independent and confident, Powder should be separated from her pack, as she leans heavily on them and avoids engaging with people when they are together. Powder has never had the chance to bond with a person—and Aussies thrive on that connection. She’s waiting for someone who will finally show her what that feels like. ##2379654##
