DOB 10/1/24 Lisette is a petite little girl who is curious and playful. She is litter box trained, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and microchipped. She likes to play with little toys, like Legos and will get them out herself. She likes gentle children over 5 and adults. She runs to the bedroom and jumps up on the bed when her favorite person is ready to go to sleep. She often makes cute little trilling noises and meows at you when she wants your attention. She purrs quite a bit, especially when being loved on. She likes watching birds from the window and enjoys studying the fish in our tank. She is interested in people food, so keep an eye on your dinner! She gets along with friendly cats, but isn't a fan of big dogs. She loves treats and her brother, Lil Bob. They play together a lot, and groom each other before snuggling up for a nap. If you need a new leading lady in your life, Lisette won't disappoint! PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lisette (bonded with Lil Bob), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
