My story

Meet Angus, a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who was found as a stray in Miami and brought to Big Dog Ranch in search of his forever family. This handsome pup has high energy, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. Angus thrives with structure and would do best with an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of his breed and active spirit. He’s great on a leash, knows his basic commands, and is fully housetrained, which makes him a solid foundation for someone looking for a loyal companion. He’s good with other dogs but does have a protective streak when it comes to his food, so feeding him separately or with supervision around other dogs is recommended. Angus is not good with cats due to his prey drive, but he does well with kids, especially those who can keep up with his playful, affectionate energy. This water-loving boy is always up for some splashing fun, followed by cuddle time and his favorite toys. He also experiences mild separation anxiety, so he'd do best in a home where he’s not left alone for long periods or with someone who can help him adjust gradually.
