This big boy is already massive, weighing in at a shocking 70+ lbs at 6 months old. Now that he's older, Alfredo looks less lab and is much blockier and droopier. Alfredo is the result of an accidental litter; his dad is a Great Pyrenees mix and his mom is reported to be a Lab/Boxer mix. Alfredo was adopted out a few months ago, but he unfortunately was not a great match for his adopters. He likes to be the center of attention, and the household he went to had too much going on to provide that for him.Bursting with good looks and a goofy personality, we know that whoever chooses Alfredo as their forever dog will not regret it. He and his littermates adore children and are friendly with other dogs. Alfredo is pretty similar to the clumpsy, playful puppy we met a few months ago. He's sensitive and has a hilarious appeasement grin that he launches into whenever given direct attention, along with his body and tail that wriggle relentlessly at that same attention. Alfredo wishes he was a lapdog soooo bad. He has no idea that he's about the size of a small pony, and he WILL attempt to make his new home in your lap. He's never happier than when he's being held and baby talked to, so it's impossible to say no to him when he does clamber on over. Alfredo does well with large groups of dogs, and he takes corrections from the older, bigger dogs well when he's being rude. With the right person, Alfredo will be a wonderful companion. He does have a protective streak, and as his size is very imposing already, we can foresee him being intimidating, even though we know the truth about him!
