Kid friendly: YesDog friendly: YesCat friendly: YesEnergy level: Lots of puppy energy level! Leash skills: Really scared on leash still! Would love some volunteers to help out! Keeps a clean kennel: Still a pupppy; not yet potty trained. Say hey to Alfredo! This big boy is already massive, weighing in at a shocking 40+ lbs at almost 16 weeks old. Except for his funny triangle ears and frankly shocking size, one might assume that Alfredo is your basic yellow lab. Unlike most of the dogs that arrive as strays, however, Alfredo and his siblings Kiwi (f) and Bender (m) were the result of an accidental litter. Their dad is a Great Pyrenees and their mom is a Lab/Boxer mix! Bursting with good looks and a goofy personality, we know that whoever chooses Alfredo as their forever dog will not regret it. He and his littermates adore children, are friendly with other dogs, and even enjoy the company of cats. If Kiwi is the independent free-thinker and Bender is the introverted lover, Alfredo is the free-from-inhibiton, all-hands-in, extroverted lover of life. Lackin the same shyness his siblings share, Alfredo knows what he wants - that is, attention. He blossoms when even a bit of eye contact is sent his way. He's playful and loves to wrestle. Although he could use some manners 101, his natural attempts at making human friends, though clumsy, are sincere and gentle. This guy is going to be an adventure to get to know as he grows up. As both Pyrenees and Labs tend to be social, friendly, and non-discriminatory when it comes to making new friends, we're not suprised to hear this. This pups will make fantastic companions as long as you're prepared to offer them lots of opportunities to safely explore their environment and come up with a "job" to do!
