Meet Nova — A Soul in Need of Gentle Love 🌸 Nova is a 2-year-old Pitbull/Australian Shepherd mix who’s had a rough start and is now looking for a calm, patient home where she can finally feel safe. Surrendered for chasing chickens, Nova is completely shut down and terrified of everything around her. She’s so unsure that she army crawls over to say hello and is extremely hand shy. This sweet girl carries the scent of her past, but with time, patience, and kindness, we believe she can learn what it means to be a dog — to play with toys, enjoy a soft bed, and trust the people around her. Nova would do best in a quiet home with older kids who understand her need for space and gentle encouragement. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body — just a heart that desperately wants to feel safe and loved. Let’s help Nova find her second chance. Is that with you?
