My story

Eleanor is a gentle and lovely girl with a soft, medium-length coat and an equally soft personality. She came to us with her littermate, Piper, after their owner could no longer care for them.Eleanor can be a bit shy at first, but with patience and a calm environment, she blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. She appreciates a quiet space where she can settle in at her own pace and begin to feel safe.We recommend a home with children 8 and up who can understand her need for gentle interactions. If you have a dog at home, slow and careful introductions will be key to making Eleanor feel comfortable.Whether she`s lounging in a sunny spot or quietly observing her surroundings, Eleanor is ready to find a forever home where she can feel secure and loved. Could that be with you?If you`re interested in meeting Eleanor or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.Adoption fee is $50
