My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:5Sushi – The Snuggly Shepsky with a Playful Spark Meet Sushi, an 84-pound, 2-year-old Shepsky boy who’s equal parts athlete, cuddlebug, and curious explorer. Gentle giant vibes: Despite his size, Sushi is easy to handle and responsive on leash—though he might get a bit bouncy when excitement takes over. Sniff & explore: Loves investigating his surroundings and showing curiosity toward nearby pups. Snuggle pro: Once he warms up, Sushi leans into affection—offering playbows, cuddles, and sweet moments of closeness. Parkour pup potential: Don’t let his weight fool you—Sushi has agility potential. He enjoys hopping up on benches, scoping out the scene or catching scents in the air. Smart & polite: Knows sit, takes treats nicely, and is wonderfully patient during grooming sessions like baths and brushing. Dog social: Sushi goes to doggie playgroup and plays nicely with his canine pals. Sushi is ready to be your one-and-only or join a home with dog pals who match his play style. He is the total package for an active, loving home—playful, cuddly, curious, and ready for adventure.
