My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello there! My name is Zora, and I’m a lovable, energetic 6-month-old Rottweiler.   I was surrendered to the rescue with a broken tibia that had been left untreated, and I was in so much pain. But the amazing people here immediately got me the surgery I needed, and I’ve been recovering ever since. I don’t really enjoy this whole ‘recovery’ thing. It means I can’t run, jump, or play like I used to, and I’m bursting at the seams to get back to those activities. But watch out when I get the all-clear from the doctor - there won’t be any holding me back!   I’ve been trying my best to be a good girl while I’ve been recovering. My foster mom taught me to sit and shake, and I go potty outside on the leash really well. She also said I’m a very sweet cuddler when I’m tired.   It won’t be long until the doctor gives me the all-clear, and I’ll be ready to find my forever home. I’m not sure what that is exactly, but my foster mom said it’s going to be great, and I can’t wait to try out new things and explore the world.   I’m up to date on all my vet visits, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. I’m pretty much housebroken, but I’m still a puppy, so there might be a slip-up here or there. And my new family should be prepared to continue working on my puppy obedience skills.   I love other dogs, but I think I’d probably do best in a home without small dogs or cats. My foster mom says I just play a little too rough with them.   I’m excited to meet my new family and start this new chapter of my life! I should be all healed in the next few weeks and will be able to go to my new home, so If you are interested in adopting me please submit your application now at http://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. I am new to the rescue. My foster mom will update when she learns more about me.For more information and to submit an application, got to www.arrfnc.com. Thanks!May 14, 2025, 12:20 pm
