My story

Bianca is an energetic and outgoing girl who greets everyone with a big smile. She loves to run and play with other dogs and has a sassy personality that shines through when she invites her human to join the fun. Sometimes she can be a bit needy and will rub her hip against you to ask for attention. She would thrive with someone who can teach her commands or fun ways to communicate what she wants (like ringing a bell to go outside). Overall, Bianca is a happy, easygoing girl who loves to burn off energy in the backyard. She never gets jealous of other dogs — for her, the dog life is the pack life. With cats, she’s content to sniff and move on (see video in her profile). She sleeps in her crate every night and gets a couple of short walks per day due to her foster mom’s busy schedule, but she has good leash skills and would flourish in a home with active adopters. Bianca’s personality is all about positivity and socializing. She would benefit from doggy school and would love the stimulation of doggy daycare. Rescue story: Bianca was found abandoned on the streets of Houston. One of our volunteers spotted her and brought her to safety. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.) To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. PLEASE READ:  •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.  •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.    •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments. Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well. Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation. For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com. The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. Sandy Paws Rescue’s MA license number # 0272 ##2398711##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bianca, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
