My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Clove is cautiously friendly and loves to play. He’s not as bold as his brother, Chive, but once he’s comfortable he purrs away while being held and getting pets. Clove loves wand toys, and sometimes will try and drag one into another room to play with it. Clove also loves fuzzy mice, and carries them around to play with them. He likes having a friend to play with, but keeps a respectful distance from the big cats when they tell him no. Clove and Chive often take turns chasing each other around the house, and Clove sometimes jumps out and surprises his brother.   Clove likes to be in the room with his people, and sometimes ends up weaving around our feet as we walk from room to room, like he’s making sure he stays with us. He was slower than Chive to warm up to his foster family, but now he loves getting pets and flops down near us when he’s done playing. Clove has been around a few very enthusiastic young kids, and doesn’t like it if they are loud or moving quickly. He does like children who are quiet and will let them pet him and even hold him for a little while.   Clove might be okay as an only cat as long has he has a person at home with him most of the time. He is a social kitten and likes to have a friend nearby.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. To Adopt one of our Cats or Kittens, please fill out an Online Adoption Application on our website  https://www.13thstcats.org/info/adoption If the animal bio says that they are a "Courtesy Listing", the contact information will be included in the animal bio for you to reach out to them directly. Thank you for wanting to Adopt! -------------- 13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose. We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat May 13, 2025, 11:19 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt clove, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
