MAXINE

My story

This beautiful lady is Maxine! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 5/7, and no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Maxine as a total sweetheart! She is quiet in her run and calm outside. She is attentive to people, sits nicely when asked, and takes treats gently. Maxine was such a good subject to photograph...we wish all the dogs were this easy to work with! Maxine is approximately 2 years old and weighs 58 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Maxine in run 56; her ID # is 9854. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
