Name: Kanga          Best Guess for Breed:  Lab/Retreiver mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of May 2025          SEX:   Female  Approximate Weight: 50 lbs as of 5/13/25  Gets Along With:  Kanga does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here.  Kanga is Looking For:   Her forever home! This extra sweet girl did a great job of raising her babies Roo and Riggins, and they're off to get their own forever homes! Kanga is now eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scratches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Watch out - she won’t hesitate to try her soulful puppy eyes on you for extra treats throughout the day! What do you say?
