Harold

My story

Harold is a smart, people-orientated dog. He's treat-motivated and takes them oh-so-gently! He knows sit and down already and quickly picks up on new commands. Harold likes to be with people and will follow you around the home. Overnight, he's happy to be on his dog bed in your room. Harold loves toys; he'll chew away happily on a stuffie but really enjoys a good game of fetch. He retrieves the ball and brings back to you for the next toss! Harold is housebroken and nearly perfect when hanging in the home with his person/people. When out on walks, Harold is very excitable when seeing other animals. He needs an experienced dog-walker to handle him and redirect his attention when encountering other dogs on leash or cats running nearby. For now, Harold is recommended for a home without other pets while his family works on his manners and skills when meeting other animals. Harold was transferred to Valley Humane on 5/11 from Stockton Animal Services. He is a young adult (estimated to be aged between 1 and 4 years old) and weighs 35.6 pounds.
