My story

Meet Glacier!Glacier has been in foster care for almost 2.5 months, and during that time she has stolen everyone’s hearts. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was extremely underweight and looked like she had been through so much. Yet from day one, she has been the happiest, sweetest girl. She even allowed us to handle her puppies immediately and seemed so grateful for the safety and care she was finally given.Now that all of her puppies have been adopted, it’s Glacier’s turn to find her forever family. This beautiful senior girl may walk and move a little slower, but she has the heart and spirit of a puppy. She greets everyone—children, men, women—with her signature “helicopter tail” wag and endless love.Glacier has been completely potty-trained from the start and has never had an accident in the house. She does bark at times, likely because she has been separated from other pets and people during her heartworm treatment, but we expect that will improve once she can be fully integrated into the home. She’s currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is handling it like a champ—never a missed meal, never a complaint, just happiness and appreciation.She has had limited interactions with other dogs and has shown no signs of aggression, and all indications are that she will be dog- and possibly cat-friendly once we can safely test her further.Glacier has lived a hard life, likely chained and forced to have litter after litter of puppies, but you’d never know it from her loving and forgiving nature. She deserves a family who will spoil her with love and comfort for the rest of her days. Could that family be yours?
