Introducing Beanie Beanie is an 82lb, 4 year old suspected Norwegian Elkhound mix who was surrendered to Forget Me Not Shelter when his owner was moving and could no longer care for him. He’s a talkative, goofy boy who loves to play and snuggle! With a slow introduction, Beanie plays well with other dogs and is in 2 playgroups at the shelter. He does not care for cats and would rather chase them than snuggle them. Beanie is smart and eager to learn, he knows sit, lay down and stay, and is housetrained. He came from a home where he was around kids and does well with them, though he is a big guy who loves to lean on you so toddlers may be too small for Beanie. He loves to go on car rides and has been on many outings with volunteers. His favorite stop is at our local hardware store where he can’t wait to get his treat! Beanie was known to be an escape artist at his prior home but since his time at the shelter we’ve observed that he wants to be near people and has not tried to run away. He’s a very loving boy who would enjoy to explore and go on all the adventures with his forever family! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Beanie is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
