Piti Small in size but overflowing with sweetness, Piti is an easygoing little pup with a gentle nature and a love for both snuggles and sunshine. He’s been thriving in his foster home, gaining weight, eating well, and soaking up affection from the people and pets around him. Piti loves to romp in the grass after meals and is starting to learn about potty routines — though he hasn’t quite made the connection yet, he’s getting there with time and consistency. He’s not much of a barker and has a mellow personality that would make him a wonderful fit for many types of homes, whether solo or with other animals. This tiny guy would especially love a family that can spend time with him during the day as he continues to grow and learn. With his snuggly nature and soft, soulful eyes, Piti is the kind of puppy who quietly steals your heart and never gives it back. ----- Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Piti, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
