My story

Bon is the kind of dog who makes every day brighter with his goofy grin and big heart! At just 2 years old, he’s bursting with smarts and playful energy, and he’s already a training rockstar—he knows his commands, follows door routines like a champ, and can wait patiently even when his favorite toy is right in front of him (impressive, right?). Bon loves making new dog friends, thrives on fun and structure, and would be happiest in a home that keeps his mind and body active. He is heartworm positive, but he's already on the path to recovery and just needs a little extra care while he heals. If you’re ready for a sweet, loyal buddy who’s as clever as he is cuddly, come meet Bon—you’re going to love him! Not ready to adopt? I'm also available to foster through the Surfer Program at Peggy Adams! It would also be a great opportunity for me to get a vacation from the shelter - or this could even be an adoption trial for me and you!
