Miki

My story

Miki came to us in a very mysterious way, all tucked away in a box by the HSPCA entrance, at midnight, with a note saying, "found at 64th ave and Oak", an open tin of Ceasar's dog food his only companion.Luckily he had a microchip and we were able to get a hold of the guardian who shared with us that they recently had to re-home Miki as they had moved to a non pet friendly building. The new family had an existing cat and Miki was not a fan so he ran away from his new home. The new guardian believes he would do really well in a home with no other animals. He is a bit nervous in shelter but has been enjoying getting attention from the shelter staff and volunteers. He melts for chin scritches and cuddles. He does startle easily with unfamiliar noises but settles very quickly with some reassurance. He would do best in a quiet home with no other animals.Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit.
