Name:   Checo         Best Guess for Breed:   Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age:   4 years as of May 2025        SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   11 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Shelter - Checo needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area   Checo is Looking For:    Say hello to Checo, a charming 4-year-old Chihuahua with a soft brown and white coat and a heart full of love. This little guy may be small in size, but he's got a big personality!  Checo is coming to us from a shelter in Texas, where he's been patiently waiting for his second chance. He's already past the puppy chaos but still young enough to enjoy life’s adventures with you. Whether it's lounging at home or tagging along on errands, Checo just wants to be by your side.  He's great with people and would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished.
