Penelope

My story

Meet Penelope! She is a 4 yr old female Rat Terrier mix that weighs 26lbs. She is a beauty and may also have some Brazilian Terrier and Bull Terrier in her mix. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 5/13 as a stray. Penelope is a friendly and gentle loving girl. She will cuddle close and climb into your lap for attention. I feel she has been someone`s loving companion, yet she has not been reclaimed. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and maybe housetrained. She didn`t show any interest in the other dogs that were barking at her in the bay, but we do always ask if there will be another dog in the home, to please ask the shelter for a dog test. She dreams of finding her final forever family that has a secured yard she can play in, but will live indoors where she can sit with you on the couch watching your favorite TV show. Penelope would make any family a fantastic companion. You just have to come spend some time with her.
