My story

Shania was found in Sea Palms near an established cat colony. She was adopted in 2013 when she was only a kitten. The person who adopted her lived on St. Simons close to Sea Palms, but sadly never reclaimed her. Shania is now FIV+ and almost 12 years old. Poor baby. Although understandably a little slow to warm up, Shania is a very sweet old lady. This grande dame would love to be in a home again curled up in a sunny spot. No animal in their golden years deserves to be in a kennel. If you are not familiar with Fiv, it is a condition that is fairly easily maintained. Most Fiv+ cats actually die of old age! For more information or to meet this beautiful feline, come in Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. Shania is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for FeLV,

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shania, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
