My story

My Foster wrote: If I could write a quote for this beautiful cat it would be "That's princess Kokomi to you!" Kokomi is a very clean little lady who does her best to make sure her litter box doesn't smell. To keep herself clean she sometimes goes as far as dipping her paws in water and wiping them on the edge of the bowl. She loves to be the center of attention despite being very cautious of her surroundings at first. She's graceful, agile, and super curious. Although she's quite the princess, Kokomi is definitely not one-note. She has warrior energy and lives the explore hard, eat hard, play hard lifestyle. Many of her traits will remind you of dogs, from her signature sniff to her play all day high energy. A slow feeder and an automatic toy would be a great addition to her permanent home. Be prepared for her to constantly seek your attention, even if it's just for play.A volunteer writes:Kokomi came to the Manhattan Care Center with friend Xiao as their family lost their home. Kokomi is gently outgoing and comes slowly but surely forward when called, not forgetting to stretch before meeting her visitors. She is so pretty and petite, a little ball of cotton with an adorable triangular face and sharp almond eyes. She leans into pets, head bunds and purrs galore but all her moves are gracious and soft. She appreciates treats but people's company is what Kokomi relishes. Kokomi is always happy to meet a new friend. Just imagine how beaming she will be when someone falls in love with her and takes her home. Kokomi is waiting for you! What my friends at ACC say about me:Kokomi was in the den, appearing slightly unsure, but enjoyed petting, leaning in nicely for cheek, rubs, and eating treats. This went on for sometime as the assessor tried to coax her out of the den, but she wouldn't come out. She did stretch her neck out to sniff some additional treats, and once the kennel door was shut she stretched her head out even farther to rub up against the litter box and then retreated back inside. She's a very sweet cat who needs a little time to warm up. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tri Color Weight: 7.5 Age: 2yrs 1mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kokomi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
