My story

Worried girlie, Lola is feeling quite overwhelmed with some recent changes and can't wait to get some regularity and normalcy back into her daily routine. Lola will likely benefit from some time to rest and become familiar with her new family and home at a pace that involves less pressure. Once familiar and rested, this spunky girl would love to chase her plush toys and lean into the lap of her new friends!Our volunteers have told us that Lola may be a bit cautious and apprehensive when they first approach her for a walk and may take a few minutes before she relaxes. But once she does and begins to gain confidence, she is sweet and affectionate, walks politely, leaning in for attention and gentle petting, and gently takes their high value treats - turkey may be her favorite.She will only be placed in a home with children 10 or older to allow for a comfortable transition.
