My story

  In a world full of Spaldings, be the Wilson this Castaway needs! A true companion, guaranteed not to float away in your time of need, Castaway wants nothing more than to be around his favorite people for endless snuggles and tasty treats. So, if you're looking for someone to save as much as they'll save you, Castaway delivers! Castaway was found as an injured stray back in March with an infected wound to his back right leg. We ended up needing to amputate that leg, and he is mostly recovered now from that surgery but is still working on rebuilding strength on his remaining back leg and getting used to navigating around, so his home and space should be slight "baby proofed" to avoid any stumbles or accidents. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
