My story

Jetty is the sweetest and most snuggly little puppy girl who is ready to start her life's adventure! Dumped with her littermates in a very remote area near the tribal reservation, she narrowly escaped fate and was found clinging to life, emaciated and exhausted. The only puppy rescued, and beating the odds, this sweet, surprisingly chill, and easygoing girl, gets along great with all of the other dogs and cats in her foster home. She loves people and enjoys following them around, snuggling, and resting nearby. She is an expert lounger that has the get-up-and-go when she needs to! Jetty is still a puppy and so naturally she does puppy things- like chewing on items that 'someone' left out. She is excellent about chewing on her toys and can be found toting all of her chew toys out to the back yard to lounge and enjoy. She is a professional when it comes to the crate, and is really wonderful about going outside to potty! She is still young, just 3 months old, so while she will need continued support, she has nearly perfected housetraining.Jetty is likely a pointer mix of sorts, she has little paws, long legs, and a long lanky body. She is currently 22-25 lbs at 12(ish) weeks old, and will likely grow to be a slender 35-45# dog. Jetty would enjoy an active home where she has lots of opportunity to get out and see the world away from her backyard. She is curious and, a touch on the timid side, just at first. Having another resident dog friend to play with, and learn from, would be ideal. This way she can enjoy companionship and also gain confidence as she matures.Jetty would benefit from a family that is committed to helping her succeed and she will need to attend an owner accompanied, 4-6 week basic training course (of adopters choice) as part of her adoption agreement. Her adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, first years vaccines, dewormer, and health check. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Please note that we work to carefully select adoptive homes that best meet the needs of the animals in our care, and not on a first come first served basis. Thanks! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationMay 16, 2025, 6:31 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jetty, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
