My story

Contact us to learn more!* Sweet Eena loves her people and loves kids! She would do best in a home with children 8+ years. She enjoys cuddling, walks, chew toys, a shady spot on a hot day, and playing with other dogs. She also (adorably) enjoys stealing peas from the garden. Another easy-going, more confident dog in the home would help her adjust and learn the ropes, but she would also be happy to be your one and only gal pal. We don't know much about Eena's background, but we do know she was abandoned on a doorstep and spent time in a few foster homes before ending up in Colorado. She is timid and hesitant around new people, and like many rescue dogs, she is wary of men, but she warms up with a slow approach. Once she is comfortable with her routine, she is incredibly playful and loves to be part of the pack. Eena loves a routine, responds well to boundaries, loves the couch, and would love to explore the world with a loving and patient forever family. She would thrive in a home that understands her needs and is also interested in training and enrichment to overcome her fear. She has so much potential! She is kennel and potty trained and is working on learning all the basics in her foster home! Eena is a 3.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Eena is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
