My story

Location: Sioux Falls, SD Clover is adorable, smart and has the softest fur!! This little guy is going to steal hearts. Clover picks up on routines very quickly, and he learns fast! He is a young puppy and keeps up with the resident dogs with no problem. He has also figured out how to roll over and play dead to quickly submit if the bigger dogs get too crazy. He loves toys, toys and toys! Anything to keep his puppy teeth happy will be a hit. Even though he is still very young, he has already learned "sit," and by watching the resident dogs, he has mastered the use of the dog door already, too! At mealtimes, when he is asked if he is hungry, he runs right back to his kennel! Clover had to learn that there would be many, many more meals coming his way and to slow down his eating. He started foster care as a frantic gulper and then would immediately search for more. Now that he eats in his kennel, he still eats quickly but has learned he can chew his food - and when he is done, he sits nicely and waits for the door to be opened again. He does not have food aggression and isn't bothered by other dogs coming near him when he eats, he just currently has to be contained so he wouldn't go around and eat everyone else's food. He has just started working on potty-training. He needs to be supervised but gets right to business every time he goes outside and comes running back so proud of himself when you praise his progress! He goes to bed in his crate at 9:30pm and gets up at 6am with it still clean and dry! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Clover, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
