My story

Ming has a big heart and a curious spirit. She loves playing with toys, exploring the yard, and soaking up all the new sights and smells. She’s friendly with both dogs and cats — though she is a little too interested in litter boxes, so you’ll want to keep those out of reach! Ming is crate-trained and sees her crate as her cozy, safe space. She does well walking on the leash and she does well in her foster home with going potty outside. She has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which affects her balance and coordination. While she may move a little differently, it doesn’t slow her down one bit — she gets around just fine and is living her best life! The condition is non-progressive, meaning it won’t get worse over time. Ming has one special requirement: no children. She is extremely fearful of them, likely due to a rough experience in her past home. For her safety and comfort, Ming needs a calm, adult-only household where she can feel secure and loved. With her playful personality, gentle nature, and resilient spirit, Ming is sure to bring a lot of joy and love to the right home. She’s a special girl looking for someone who sees how perfectly unique she is.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ming, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
